Description

Each pellet contains

Combining a high concentration of probiotic with nucleotides. Proven to increase forage digestibility by up to 100% by a study conducted by Hartpury College.

Oils
Soya oil and linseed oil – natural, vegetable sources of omega 3 and 6 fatty acids. Combined with zinc the oils ensure healthy, scurf-free skin and a glossy, gleaming coat.

SoundHoof™
A complete hoof supplement with biotin, methionine, lysine, organic zinc and organic copper for the formation of strong, pliable, good quality hooves.

PrimoVento™
A complete respiratory supplement with antioxidants, menthol, eucalyptus and garlic to soothe the airways and maintain lung health and integrity.

Antioxidants
Selenium, Vitamin C and Vitamin E to aid the ‘mopping up’ of free radicals and promote a healthy immune system. Blue Chip uses naturally sourced, fruit derived Vitamin E, which is 4-6 times more bioavailable than the Vitamin E found in most feed products.

Nucleotides
As well as forming a key part of the double-action digestive supplement, nucleotides are essential building blocks of DNA and RNA and are therefore essential to every cell in the body. Nucleotides help support immunity, stamina, cell replication and repair of cell damage.

De-stressor
Magnesium is included to keep horses and ponies calm and stress free. In addition the digestive supplement will settle the digestive system ensuring horses feel comfortable and relaxed.

Complete vitamin, mineral and nutrient package
This ensures the correct functioning of the metabolic system, central nervous system, immune system, proper growth rates, bone strength and joint health. Blue Chip uses organic/chelated minerals to ensure optimum absorption and effectiveness.

In 2013, my yearling colt stopped thriving. Showing signs of lethargy, dull coat and falling weight, veterinary investigations showed he had not one, but two dead molars since approximately 6 months of age. This diagnosis is an extremely rare occurrence in equine dentistry history, and he underwent major surgery to remove both teeth, so as to eliminate recurring infections.
For his recovery I began implementing supplements following the best of my knowledge in Equine nutrition, but disappointingly nothing I used was making any progress in his weight gain or overall health.
I researched further, and finding Blue Chip Original (blue bag) I introduced it into his diet. The results were nothing short of incredible! He gained weight and began to blossom! His eyes shone, his coat condition responded from previously being dull to gleaming satin-health! His hooves became strong, and his mane and tail began to grow again. The improvement in this horse was remarkable, and I have received so many positive comments about his dramatic transformation!
Because Blue Chip has proved itself to me as an extraordinary supplement, I have now incorporated it into the feeding regime for all our horses. They are paddock-raised and although not technically in ‘show condition’, their overall health is evident with gleaming, dappled coats. Their body-condition has also been very easy to maintain through the winter drought months.

I have used many balancers over the years with horses and I’ve never found one which ticks all the boxes. I purchased Blue Chip Original for my TB dressage mare and within a few days I already started seeing the difference. Her coat was more shinier, she was much more calmer in the arena and her performance in the arena seems to be more effective since she went on Blue Chip. I seriously recommend to anyone who wants to achieve the best possible results from their horses to use Blue Chip Balancers. Original brought her back into great condition from having the winter off work, and I will never use another balancer for my horses ever again accept Blue Chip. Finally, all the vitamins and nutrients within Blue Chipare practically all the supplements most horses need all in one feed which saves money on having to buy extra supplements, and takes less time when preparing the horses feed. I swear by this balancer, and if you don’t try it on your horses then you’ll never know their full potential if given the right feed.

My foal, Malachy, is fed Blue Chip Original and I wanted to share how he’s been getting on since using it.He has settled down a lot in the last two months, I have had help with him and he can now be caught and handled although sometimes I have to chase him round his Mum a couple of times first.I am starting to pick his feet out and lead him around. He has had his 1st two flu & tetanus jabs and has been microchipped and he was very good on both occasions.
He is still a nervous boy, which might be just the way he is but I am working with him daily between poo picking the field, filling up the water trough and rushing to work.
The main difference is how much he has grown, he now stands at 13hh and weights 233 kg. I have also noticed that his bone density has increased, and comparing the difference between him and his half siblings in the farm next door, he has more bone and better growth size for size than they do.
Unfortunately his mum has had a positive diagnosis of Cushings in October, she’s only 7 years old. I have had my suspicions for a couple of years, but thought she was too young, this is another reason why I did not want to breed from her (although she had other ideas!)
She has been on Lami-light for a while now as I noticed she was hanging onto her coat in Spring and since October has a daily Pergolide tablet and is doing well. The farrier commented on how tough her feet were and mentioned she would not need shoes, so I am really pleased as last year they were full of grass cracks and could not keep a set of shoes on, she also had an abscess.
    Kindest regards, Maggie Hendry
